Dr. Valarie Jerome is an optometrist, entrepreneur, and advocate for whole-person eye care.

Dr Jerome obtained her Bachelor of Science from Georgia Southern University in Georgia and her Doctor of Optometry degree from Nova Southeastern University in Florida.

Dr. Jerome was named one of the UK’s Top 100 Female Entrepreneurs by Small Business Britain for her contribution to independent healthcare and community well-being. Dr. Jerome served on the Association of Optometrists Council, where she helped to promote the profession of optometry and represented optometrists from her region in the UK.

Dr. Jerome started a charity vision clinic serving the homeless and vulnerable in her town in the UK in 2021, has provided vital eyecare and vision assistance with refugee programs over the years, and mentors young professionals entering the field of optometry. Dr. Jerome also served as a director of the Newbury Business Improvement District (BID), where she worked to promote her town of Newbury, Berkshire, UK, and support other local businesses.

Currently spending time in both the USA and UK, Dr. Jerome has a commitment to spend time with family on both sides of the pond — something she is just as passionate about as eyes. In addition to spending time with family, Dr. Jerome enjoys pottery, strength training, being with friends, and fur babies.
